O albume:

Hotel Art je Boo Hewerdine & Vlado Nosal. Stretli sa v krčme v Croydone v roku 2018 a počas Covid lockdownu začali spolu písať. Vlado v Bratislave a Boo v Glasgowe. Napriek tomu, že Boo je dvakrát starší ako Vlado, zistili, že si takmer telepaticky rozumejú, čo môže súvisieť s tým, že obaja sú vášnivými obdivovateľmi dekoratívnych diel, ktoré sa nachádzajú v hoteloch. Radi píšu o humusáckych aspektoch moderného života a snažia sa v nich nájsť trochu krásy.

Album Elevator Music je prvým albumom, ktorý spoločne zložil Boo Hewerdine (UK) a Vlado Nosal(SK). Elevator Music sa vyznačuje úctou k pesničkárskemu remeslu, silným citom pre harmóniu aj melódiu s premyslenými textami, v ktorých sa mieša melanchólia so suchým humorom.

About album:

Hotel Art is Boo Hewerdine & Vlado Nosal. They met in a pub in Croydon in 2018 and during the lockdown started writing together. Vlado in Bratislava and Boo in Glasgow. In spite of Boo being twice Vlado's age, they found out they have an almost telepathic understanding, which may have something to do with them both being keen aficionados of decorative work found in hotels. They like to write about hum-drum aspects of modern life and try to find some beauty there

Elevator Music is the first album co-written by Boo Hewerdine (UK) and Vlado Nosal(SK). Elevator Music is characterised by a reverence for the craft of songwriting, a strong sense of harmony and melody, with thoughtful lyrics that blend melancholy with dry humour.
